Cultural Heritage

Our staff have worked on some of Victoria’s most culturally significant public landscapes, and have expertise in dealing with the complexities that come with this.   This includes a thorough understanding of the management of culturally significant spaces, as well as the sympathetic approach that is needed for new design.   Additionally, our staff have extensive experience in the management of heritage trees including significant tree studies and replacement strategies.

Our practice and Andrew Laidlaw’s work at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne includes work on the following culturally significant landscapes:

  • Melbourne Zoo Main Drive
  • Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne
  • Kyneton Botanic Gardens
  • Benalla Botanic Gardens
  • Geelong Botanic Gardens
  • Sale Botanic Gardens
  • Williamstown Botanic Gardens
  • Hamilton Botanic Gardens
  • Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens
  • Albert Park
  • Residential Gardens under Heritage Overlays
